Sun Room Construction
The sun room kit is designed for simple construction. The structure can be built
on the standard Quantal eaves, or can be upgraded to Quantal Box Gutter eaves, which
incorporate aesthetic external detailing such as decorative soffits and fascias.
Engineered to fit cohesively into Quantal eaves, the sun room roof kit’s stainless
steel brackets will twist-fit into the existing aluminium extrusion.
The sun room’s internal detailing is built around ply timber webs that are pre-cut
to accommodate the fast-fit internal cross-member structure. In-built cut-outs allow
for cable access and optional internal Heritage cladding if required.
An internal top cladding can be added to close the soffit from above. Alternatively,
Quantal can supply a DGSU, which features a translucent film pre-fixed to the internal
pane to hide the fixings around the sun room’s eaves.
