Conservatory roofing systems specialist Quantal has joined forces with the global leader in flat glass products, Pilkington, to provide a fully comprehensive service for its customers.

As Quantal’s exclusive supplier of conservatory roof glass, Pilkington will provide a complete range of bespoke specifications including Low E-Clear glass and self-cleaning Pilkington Activ™ Neutral, through its specialist roof IGU manufacturing business Pilkington Cervoglass™.

With the new partnership, Quantal customers will benefit from an increased product choice and thanks to a new pricing system, will also see competitive costs and quick and simple glass price calculations.

Ian said: “With our new system in place, customers will only pay for the amount of glass that they use and in cutting out the costs associated with wastage, prices could be reduced by as much as 20 per cent on some specifications.

“With a direct link into the Pilkington Cervoglass™ ordering system, Quantal can place customer orders directly and in so doing reduce the potential for errors in both delivery and timescales. What’s more, customers can take full advantage of this link by ordering all of their other glass products such as their window glass from us at the same time.”

Although the conservatory market remains competitive Ian is confident that the new partnership will provide opportunities for new business in 2008, providing the right range of products is on offer.
